Asthma

A long-term condition where the airways narrow and inflame — controllable with the right plan.

Asthma care focuses on breathing comfortably in daily life — not just rescue inhalers.

What is it?

Asthma is a long-term condition in which the airways in your lungs become inflamed and narrow. That makes it harder for air to move in and out, which can come and go over time.

Signs to watch for

  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest tightness
  • Wheezing
  • Coughing — often worse at night, with exercise, or around triggers

How we treat it

The team confirms the diagnosis (often with breathing tests), identifies your triggers, and builds a plan to keep symptoms controlled day to day and prevent flare-ups.
